The Amazing Race event is part scavenger hunt, part puzzle and entirely engaging – a high-energy race where each team will decipher puzzles that will lead them to several locations around Durban, completing a variety of entertaining activities and participating in a combination of mental and physical challenges. Teams pair up in teams of four, with a designated driver assigned per team who uses their vehicle to take their team to the venues. Teams leave the registration stop and end up back at the pit stop after solving clues to reach 10-12 locations, each venue hosting an exciting challenge to complete in order to score points. The event is centered around a specific chosen area in Durban so there is not too much traveling by car.
